School's Out!!!!!!!

School's out! School's out!! Teacher's let the monkeys out!!!... :)

Boy are the kids so glad to be out of school. But they are driving me crazy already!!!!! ( Just Kidding) I love that we don't have a schedule.... But we do still have rules..

It's gonna be a long summer. You go down the street and I swear there are kids everywhere walking, talking on their phones and hanging out with their friends. That's what the kids do here in K-Ville. And my 2 kids have been right there with all of there friends. They are just running around this little old town. They go from house to house too.It's kind of weird. They are growing up. And mom and dad are not as exciting anymore. It's all about the friends. But that's ok, I was a kid once too. As long as they are staying out of trouble and mom and dad know where they are , it's all good.

CRASH ! BOOM! BANG!!

Alex was on his way over to my sisters house to catch a ride with his uncle to baseball practice, his bag got caught in his bike tire and down he went..

He is ok. But it hurts like h_ll!! He still can smile after a crash like that. You should see his bike. His eye swelled like a baseball and we thought we were going to have to take a trip to the ER. Good thing mom's Doctor was having b-ball practice and I had him take a look. He said ICE! ICE! ICE!!!

The next day. ( He looks like a true hockey player :) )

13 Days of school left!!

The count down has begun. The boys are very excited to be almost done with school for the year. Anthony is also excited about doing summer school this summer. It's all about trains(I'm not sure if he knows anything about that????) :) We have a fun filled summer planned with the boys. Visiting with family and friends near and far. I believe will be opening our pool at the end of the month, we will have baseball to finish , a hockey camp or 2 , relax and enjoy , home projects ( Al has lots of ideas in his head) , and end with a trip to Disney before we go back to school... Lots of pictures to come as school ends and summer begins. Enjoy the weather to come!!!( Hopefully)

Yeah!!! Hockey is over!!!

Well it's not really over. It's just over for a month or so. Last night was my last trip to Peoria for hockey. Alex's and Anthony' spring league ended this week. We now get a short break . A much needed break for all. We love hockey and love to watch the kids play , but it's time to concentrate on baseball for a while. We do hockey almost all year long......

Both boys start baseball games this month. They both have been practicing for the last couple of weeks. ( As well has doing hockey) Not sure how Alex's team is doing other than he says they are ok. We will see at there 1st game. Anthony's team is doing well. Al has them practicing 3 times a week. There 1st game is the 19th. Anthony is really enjoying having his dad as a coach, but he also thinks that he should get to play where he wants. Sometimes they butt heads , but dad wins in the end. :)

1st communion

Anthony made his 1st Communion at the same Church his mommy & daddy got married in..

Anthony had a wonderful day. He would like to thank everyone for sharing his special day with him. It was so nice to see our family and friends that could make it and we truly missed the ones who couldn't be with us.. We hope to see you all again soon..

Alex is sick

Alex missed out on the 1st Communion, he was playing a hockey tournament in Chicago. Coach Clay brought him home SICK!! Thanks Coach :) Alex went to the ER Sunday night when he returned home. He has Bronchitis. He was out of school for 3 days:( Poor Guy
