Hockey Weekend

Well the weekend started off really bad....
Denise, the boys & I left the Peoria area around noon. We got a bite to eat in Morton, then off to West Dundee. Well let's just say it took us 7 hours to find the rink and we missed the game:( Boy was I in trouble.. I felt so bad ,but the GPS took us the wrong way. And we had no idea how we couldn't find the rink. We dressed Alex in the car and carried him into the rink. But we were too late and the team lost 5-0.

Then we thought tomorrow will be better.Got to the rink on time ,everything seemed to be going well. As the coach walked up to me and said Alex couldn't find his skates. I thought OMG!!! Could this weekend get any better?? Well to make a long story short. We looked everywhere only to find out that the skates were in his bag the whole time. I could of killed him....( NOt really)The coaches said if his skates didn't show up that we should just keep going North. :) Alex played a great game with a goal and 2 assist. They won 4-1.

Sunday's game didn't go so well they lost really bad. Alex played well, but the team didn't show up for the game . They didn't gel as well. And home we went. The trip home was much shorter.. :) With lots of storms around the area..

My Cousin was here last week visiting from Vegas. She was moving her mother there. We had such a great time growing up together. So many memories . I miss having her around to hang out with. We are all grown up now with kids of our own. No more telling stories on top of the dog house huh!? :) Somethings we will never tell our children. It was great to see ya!!! I'll visit one of these days.. Take care and give the girls hugs and kisses for me.

It was a long weekend!!!! The Satunas Family Hosted Memorial Day. Sunday Night the festivities started. I made a lasagna dinner for everyone. Everyone stayed all night. 15 Total!!!!! Wow!! Then I got up Monday morning and made breakfast for everyone, then we had a cook out Monday afternoon0on. Boy was I exhausted.... But we had a great time.. :)
