What's been going on.....

Not a lot has been going on, that is new or exciting. And I have NO new pictures to share :( I'm slacking.....

Hockey is coming to an end. This week is the last week of practice and one hockey game in Pekin this weekend. Next weekend is it... One last tournament for next weekend and we are done..Sigh.. It's bittersweet.. Love hockey and love to watch my big guy play, but this momma is tired. With practice twice a week and games in Chicago every weekend since Sept... I need a break!!!! I've missed my lil man and my hubby, as they only came with us every other weekend.



This week is ISAT week at school.. TEST TEST TEST!!!!! Kids have had no homework this week, so that has been nice.

SHHHH!!!! Testing Zone!!!!!!!!!



Baseball sign ups are tomorrow. Hope that means warmer weather is coming... :) I'm so ready to open up the windows and let the air in..



March 11th is Alex's Confirmation. He is sooo ready to be done with CCD. Anthony doesn't think it's fair. My hope is that Alex will continue his journey with God with the help of family and friends and not loose sight to what is important.

May 25th is Alex's 8th grade Graduation.. Can't believe my baby is going to be in High School next year. Where has time gone.. I would love to stop (time) and go back and not be in such a hurry for him to walk, talk, ride his bike, etc... U get the idea.. They grow up WAY to fast!!! He is growing up to be such a wonderful young man... I see so much of his dad and I in him. So with that being said, Thank You Mom & Dad's!! ( Grandma & Grandpa Mitchell and Grandpa & Grandma Satunas) for being such wonderful parents, Guiding us, supporting us, loving us and helping us to become the the person we are today... We have truly been blessed!!! We love you!!!

Anthony has not had much going on at all, except for being a fun and lovable son....He has so much energy and is full of life... He has been working hard at school and is patiently waiting for baseball season to start.. He has loved his one on one time with dad, while Alex and I have been away for hockey. Mom's been a little jealous.. :) I miss hanging with him .. But I'll get all my snuggles in now cause hockey season is coming to an end and we are all traveling together for these last few games :) YAY!! As u all know, days are numbered for him allowing me to get those snuggles in. :( He is growing up way to fast as well. Anthony will be at the Jr. High in 5th grade next year... And mom & dad will slowly not be as cool to hang with. :(

Al is doing good. Working hard as usual. He is going to love having all of his family home together on the weekends. He might even get a few more home cooked meals :) Alan & Ant have been doing projects on their one on one weekends. Anthony is such a great helper and he loves for dad to keep him busy...or is he keeping dad busy?? :)LOL!!! Alan has been traveling some to Chicago for work. He tries to keep up with all of us and to whats going on, but sometimes that's a job in itself....

Me, I'm just trying to stay sane.. Kids( Al included :) ) keep me very busy. With day to day stuff, hockey, pets, CCD, and working everyday all day. But I wouldn't want it any other way... I love these guys in my life and all the things they have me do. I may gripe at times but underneath it all I'm really smiling.. :)

We have been blessed with some pretty awesome friends we get to hang out with from time to time. And we miss the ones that aren't so near...

Well I guess I've blabbed on and on for now. I will try and keep our family blog up to date and I hope to have taken some new pix over the next week or so.
