Grumpy, Grumpy, Grumpy

Well, Al is still not feeling the greatest. He is very crabby. He needs to kick this bug in the butt... before I kick him in the butt. :) This bug has really taken it's toll on him...

So Mommy was back on hockey duty this week again... And you will never guess what happened. I was really excited to stay at home last night. It's been so long since I've done any baking, so Anthony and I were going to bake a cake and just hang out an snuggle . When I'm gone during the week daddy gets in all the snuggle time with Anthony..:( I really miss that.. He is growing up so fast and soon he will not want to snuggle anymore.. :(

Anyway, Al was suppose to take Alex this week and was still not feeling the greatest so, I had to fill in. In my little bit of frustration I headed to the van to go. Al's garage door is not working the way it needs to work so he parks right behind me. He never parks on my side.. So why would I even think that his car would be there. I proceed to back out. I bump into the truck . It's a black truck and it's dark out. Now I'm really frustrated. But thank god I did not do any damage ........ I got really lucky... You have NO idea how grumpy he would of been.. I would of been in the dog house. Finally got to Peoria and sat down with my friend Denise at Carlos and had some tea and chips and things seemed to be better. Got back home to 2 people snoozing away.

Alex and I get to bed and we awake with a daddy in a little bit of a better mood. Yeah!!! Hope all goes well in his world today.

Anthony's team won Tuesday night. They play Saturday at 10am. If they win that game they move onto the championship game. If they would happen to loose they play Saturday at 3pm. If that game is won they would also move to the championship game. GO TRADERS!!!!!

Then next weekend it's off to Indy. Alex's tournament starts Sat at 12. We are excited to be going to Indy as we are going to see our friends that lived in Peoria and Ohio with us. The Kaz family. I miss my friend Corie and seeing the girls on a regular basis.. They are growing up way to fast. We will keep you posted on how these tournaments pan out.

Baseball season is fast approaching and spring hockey. I will post new updated pictures when my computer gets back from the doctor.. :(

Sick, Sick, busy, busy

Well it's Monday and I'm back at work and so is AL. Yeah!!! Al has been home sick since last Wednesday, and today is the 1st day he has been out of the house...Still not feeling the greatest but he is out of the house.

It's been a very busy week for me. Alex had his usual hockey practice Wed, and Thurs and Anthony had a game on Friday. They won 5-1. way to go guys!!! It tournament time for him and they start on Tuesday night... Mommy went out with the girls to a movie and Anthony stayed with Mr. Fitzgerald. Thank You Mr. F!!!!

Alex then had a game on Sat, So back to Peoria I go... They won!! Yeah!! Then Alex and I went to the Mustang game Sat night.. Then Alex stayed with Derek and a couple of other boys from the team.

Sunday I go back again to Peoria for Anthony's practice and to pick up Alex.

Now, I'm back home to finally take care of my poor sick husband....I'm sure he enjoyed his time with peace and quiet.
I get to be home today and then back to Peoria I go... I do not know how my husband does this everyday.. He is a saint!!!!!! We are truly blessed.

Hopefully the rest of us will stay well..

Valentines

Anthony had a Valentines party at school. Him and his dad made his box and Anthony and mommy filled out the cards. Anthony was in charge of drinks for the day ,so we took juice boxes. He still gets into all of this fun stuff. He even still wants mommy to be his Valentine:)

Alex on the other hand is too big for the little fun things. He had his first "real "Valentines Day. Alex and his dad went shopping for Alex's girlfriend Katie. And I must say they did a great job. Alex stuffed her a bear and dressed it in a hockey outfit. They also bought her a pair of earrings and a necklace to match.. Boy did I wish I was Alex's girlfriend :) She was very excited and i think she has wore the the earrings and necklace everyday since he gave it to her.

Al and I had to wait a day to have our Valentines Day. Alex had hockey practice Thursday night, so us spending a evening together was out:( But Friday night we sent the kids with Grandma & Grandpa Mitchell for the night. Al and I then enjoyed a evening out without Kids and Hockey.

More and More Hockey

Hello all-
Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. MY COMPUTER IS BROKE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! I do not have very good luck with them.. or a few other electronics, but I won't go there. So I have a few minutes at work to update you all.

Alex's hockey team is out of the tournament...If they would have brought there game to the rink they might still be in things.. We have picked up a few games last weekend end and they tied one and won one. So it was a pretty good weekend. Wish they would of played like this past weekend a few weekends ago. We have a game in Peoria against Bloomington Sat. and some CIHL games the following week, then it's off to INDY March7-9 for another tournament..

Anthony had last weekend off of hockey. His team plays Sun and then there tournament starts next week ending March 2nd. Anthony's team is tied for1st place for the season.... Way to go!!

Hockey , Hockey, Hockey

Both boys had hockey games this weekend. Alex's team Had there 1st round of the NIHL tournament and they came out on top. Way to go guys!! Tuna was dieing to play after getting hurt last weekend and having to sit out all week. Dr. gave him the ok on Friday , but he was a little unsure of himself. We head to West Dundee this next weekend for round2. Good Luck Peoria!!
Ant's team did well this weekend too. His team is still undefeted. 2 Victory's this weekend. Go Traders!!! Ant's team plays again next Sat. Then it's off to the windy city...
