Couldn't Go Without...

We take a picture of the Arch everytime we are in St. Louis or go through St. Louis. Still haven't taken the kids up in it yet. Maybe one of these days.
What hockey trip wouldn't be complete without a trip to Total Hockey................

Hotel

I must say our hotel was very nice. Any of you that know me really well, knows I'm very picky about hotels . And the men even picked this one out... Wow!!

We stayed at The Westin in downtown St. Louis. The second picture was from our window from our room. How cool was it to have Bush Stadium right outside our room. The boys were sooo excited. Not that we like the Cardinals but it was still very cool. Go Cubs Go!!!!

St. Louis Hockey trip

Alex had his end of the year hockey party this weekend. His coaches got the team tickets to a Blues game. Family was on there own. So of course daddy was on call this weekend and could not go:( Mom and the boys rode with the coach and a few kids from the team. Didn't want to drive by myself. It's spring and we still got snow. UGH!!!!!

Alex was in heaven all weekend. We stopped at his favorite McD's for dinner before the game. Not my place of choice, but I was in a van full of men and boys.. They are all about quick and cheap. I'm all for the cheap, but we can eat at Mc D's anytime. Yes, I was the only mother almost that attended this wonderful event :( . Yeah Me!!!!!

What a GREAT hockey family

Hugs & kisses for Tiny

A Benefit held for The Skinner Family who lost their mother/wife unexpectedly in February. Shannon and Davey play hockey in Peoria. We all got together and held a benefit in her honor. She was a wonderful lady and a GREAT hockey mom. She will truly be missed. But it's good to know that we have a hockey angle in heaven.... Benefit raised over $5,000.00 for the family.... YEAH!!!!!

Back to Blogging

Ok, The computer is down stairs and I don't get down there very often to just sit and blog.. I'm trying to update you all on the happenings of the Satunas family since I last blogged. For some reason my computer or the blogging site wont let me blog on my time. It has been giving me fits, I get tired and give up..

My Niece Ashley had a Birthday on Feb 6th... OMG!!!!! She is Sweet Sixteen.. Al & I just can't believe it.. We went out for dinner and then back to my parents for cake, ice cream and presents. Much to her surprise there was a Ford Mustang sitting in Grandpa's garage.. SURPRISE!!!!! All the kids were so excited for her.. As she takes them all to school now when she can.. Happy Birthday Ash!!! We love u!!!!

We had Valentines Day. Alex had a school dance and Anthony still has class room parties.. My Friend Bridget & I put together Anthony and her daughter Hannah's class party. It went very well and the kids had a great time. (I'm trying to post pictures, blog site isn't letting me) UGH!!!!!

Last weekend I got to go on a date with my hubby. The kids had plans Friday night and we were suppose to go out with friends, but we thought we would spend an evening with just us. He surprised me and took me to the Packinghouse for dinner. It was GREAT!!!! Thanks Babe!!! I Love U!!!!

Anthony finished basketball and Alex just finished hockey this weekend..(Until spring hockey starts). Alex & I Just got back from Indy today. There team placed 4th. We left Friday and came home today. It was a long weekend, but we had a good time. Alex started off with a sore throat and a fever of 102.8 Friday morning. He had to stay home from school, but that didn't stop him from wanting to play the game he loves so much. Called the Doc got meds and off to Indy we went.. He sat out the first game Sat morning and by the second gave he was back out on the ice.. He actually played very well for being sick.. He is feeling much better now but we are both very tired. We are very sad that we didn't get to go see our good friendsThe Kaz family. We miss them lots, but didn't want to take a chance of the little ones getting sick. We will be back and hang out with u all when everyone is well. Give the little Kaz's love for us. We will meet u soon Baby Ben

I will keep trying to post pictures . And try not to be so long in blogging, I know we have had so much going on ,but it's so hard to remember if I don't blog right after we do it. I'll do better ..

Have a good week
